Slow Crafting Podcast: Episode 16 – All the things

A bi-weekly podcast charting my efforts to incorporate a slow living/ slow fashion approach to my crafting life through knitting, spinning and sewing along with other fibre crafts as and when the mood takes me.

This episode I talk about;
-some finished objects in the form of baby socks and spinning
-my failed attempts at natural dyeing and eco printing but I do give some recommendations for books that it would have been useful for me to read first!
– works in progress in the form of my handspun enchanted mesa by Stephen West, and lots of socks (Hermione’s everyday socks, Café Macchiato socks and some plain vanilla socks
– some wool by Erika Knight that I will be reviewing for the Minerva Crafts blog
– some beautiful batts of fibre from Hawkshaw Sheep http://www.hawkshaw-sheep-yarn.co.uk/
– some shameless self promotion of my Coeden Hat and Cowl set pattern along with a couple of coupon codes for the Ravelry users amongst you. https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/coeden-hat-and-cowl-set

You can get in touch with me via Ravelry (as CraftyNadine) or through the blog http://www.themanyknitsofnadine.wordpress.com

About themanyknitsofnadine

Interested in all things crafty, I knit, spin, sew, crochet, quilt, grow my own and bake (although the baking these days is all allergy friendly) and I try and blog about all these things. I also host a bi-weekly podcast on incorporating slow living into all my crafty adventures
